Heartland BioVentures (HBV) provides an array of value-added services to Kansas’ bioscience entrepreneurs. Collectively, these services strengthen the viability of our clients’ startup companies, while facilitating the business relationships critical for gaining traction. The final result of client interaction is the bolstering of Kansas’ bioscience economy and creation of exciting career opportunities.

Evaluation of client companies will be based on HBV’s objectives and an assessment of each company for:

1. Unique or disruptive technology-based products with commercial ability
2. Established or potential IP/patent protection
3. Strong management team with business and technical experience
4. Established alpha or beta product prototype
5. Intention of securing follow-on federal or private capital
