Kenny Wilk
Kansas Board of Regents

Kenny Wilk was appointed to the Kansas Board of Regents by Governor Sam Brownback in July 2011. Wilk’s career has included work for Hallmark Cards as a commercial sales executive before retiring in 2009; he now consults companies and organizations on community outreach initiatives, strategic planning and implementation. He also served in the Kansas House of Representatives for 16 years, chairing both the House Appropriations and Taxation Committees. He co-authored the Kansas Economic Growth Act which created the Kansas Bioscience Authority.


Wilk received a bachelor’s degree in U.S. politics at Ottawa University. He is married to Darlene Wilk, they have one son.
